Where does the course take place?
All practical training takes place at Flexi Fly Croston, Brickcroft Lane, Above Twin Lakes Velo Café, PR26 9AA — our purpose-built studio designed to provide an engaging, supportive learning environment.
Who leads the courses?
Our courses are led by experienced Flexi Academy educators, including India, with support from our instructor team. All assessments and course content are overseen by Grace, founder of Flexi Academy and creator of the Flexi Fly Method.
How do I book a course?
Booking is easy. Simply choose your preferred course from our website and complete your booking online. If you have any questions before booking, we'd love to help—just get in touch via our Contact page or social media.
What courses do you offer?
We currently offer three CPD accredited instructor training courses:
Flexi Fly Reformer – Our flagship contemporary reformer instructor training.
Flexi Fly Mat – Contemporary, strength-focused mat instructor training.
Flexi Fly Heat – A cardio-infused, Pilates-inspired strength method.
Each course has been designed to develop confident, knowledgeable instructors who can coach safe, effective and engaging classes.
Is this traditional Pilates teacher training?
No.
Flexi Academy teaches a Pilates-inspired contemporary strength method. While our teaching is influenced by Pilates principles, our courses focus on modern movement, strength training, functional coaching and breath-led instruction rather than classical Pilates.
Do I need previous experience?
No previous Pilates qualification is required to enrol.
Whether you're completely new to teaching, already work in the fitness industry, or are an experienced instructor looking to expand your skills, our courses are designed to support you through the learning process.
How long are the courses?
Each course includes a combination of home study and practical training.
Flexi Fly Reformer – Approximately 20–30 hours of home study, followed by two practical training days and assessments.
Flexi Fly Mat – Home study, one practical training day and a practical video assessment.
Flexi Fly Heat – Home study, one practical training day and a practical video assessment.
Your workbook is sent as soon as you book so you can begin learning straight away.
Are the courses accredited?
Yes.
All Flexi Academy courses are fully CPD accredited through The CPD Group, allowing you to gain recognised continuing professional development hours.
Flexi Fly Reformer – 36 CPD Hours
Flexi Fly Mat – 24 CPD Hours
Flexi Fly Heat – 20 CPD Hours
What is included with my course?

Will I receive a certificate?
Yes.
Once you've successfully completed your assessments, you'll receive your accredited Flexi Academy certificate showing your awarded CPD hours.
What happens if I don't pass first time?
Don't worry.
We're here to help you succeed. If you don't meet the assessment criteria first time, we'll provide constructive feedback and support you through the resubmission process so you can continue working towards qualification.
Can I teach after completing the course?
Yes.
After successfully completing your course, you'll be qualified to teach the Flexi Fly Method within the discipline you've trained in (Reformer, Mat or Heat), allowing you to deliver safe, effective and engaging classes.
Can I get insurance after qualifying?
Yes.
Once qualified, you can obtain instructor insurance appropriate for the discipline you've completed. As with any training provider, we recommend checking with your chosen insurer to ensure the policy meets your individual teaching requirements.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes.
We offer Stripe Pay in 3, allowing you to spread the cost of your training over three interest-free payments, subject to Stripe's eligibility criteria.
Do I receive my workbook before the course?
Yes. As soon as you've booked your place, we'll send you your digital workbook so you can begin working through the theory before your practical training.
Will I receive support after qualifying?
Absolutely. Qualifying is just the beginning. We continue to support our graduates with advice, guidance and opportunities to help you build confidence as an instructor.
